As a young team, we always look for new ways to grow and innovate. Our goal is to use creativity and technology to produce boutique experiences for our clients. For us, it’s never been a question of scale. Whether it’s a small birthday party or a sold-out show at the 3arena, we still endeavour to create events that exceed expectation
History
Established in November 2020 as Spectrum Audio, we originally started the company to provide audiovisual services and supplies to the performing arts industry. After years of performing with and in bands, supporting groups with their performances, and hosting big-ticket events for friends, David decided to change industries and commit to Spectrum Audio as a full-time venture.
After some time, David and Jack are introduced to each other while working together with a mutual client. Jack made the decision to join forces with David and the company, bringing his wealth of experience in special effects to the business, and thus Spectrum Productions was born.
We’ve evolved into a full-service event production company, providing tech solutions, event management, and installation services to individuals, artists, festivals, and corporations throughout Ireland.

Our Team
David Lawless
Managing Director
Former international oil tanker sailor turned company founder, David is passionate about creating the ultimate experience at every event he is involved in, with no belief of the sky just being the limit. He specialises in how to use the best cutting-edge technology to bring dreams into reality
Jack Quirke
Operations Director
Working in the events industry since he was a teenager. Jack is obsessed with delivering that wow factor and creating the best possible experience, no matter what needs to be amplified, illuminated or blown up! He specialises in live special effects, turning the mundane into something surreal.
Jake Carruthers
Lead Engineer
With the most skilled pair of hands, our resident electrical and sound engineer has a fine eye for detail. Jake’s experience and talent can bring whatever dreams and ambitions you have for your production and make it a reality. He specialises in utilising technological solutions to solve all sorts of problems, both big and small.
Andrew Farrel
Sound/Video Engineer
Music enthusiast, band member and key member of the Spectrum Productions support team, Andy helps to keep the machine oiled and running as it should.
