We were proud to work alongside the incredible team in the Dublin City University Students Union. With a phenomenal venue that accommodates an audience of over 1,500 they reached out to us looking to upgrade their in house production equipment in order to enhance their audience experience.

With some dated equipment previously installed, they were looking to bring the venue back to life and bring production in-house to cater for the amazing events held within DCU throughout the year. They needed new lighting and wanted to limit ladder use within the facility by adapting their truss system to electric hoist capable of being controlled via switch from the ground.

After agreeing on a design and pre-visualisation done we removed old and outdated equipment and installed fresh and advanced lighting and chain control systems. Making any event within this venue be fully production capable and independent. This system is now able to be controlled fully dmx with program’s ready to suit any type of event within the venue. The truss is able to be dropped for any additional needs from the ground, eliminating the need for a tall ladder while lifting heavy fixtures, prioritising safety and efficiency.

All the hard work was worth it when we saw the design come to life at events with over 1500 attendees, perfectly catered to from this production.
